Field Ledger · Privacy Notice
Effective 12 October 2026 · Version 1.0
Carvn is built so that we do not need to collect anything. Your journal never leaves your device, we operate no account system, and we run no analytics endpoint from inside the app.
Carvn asks for the camera, the microphone, on-device dictation, photo library writes, notifications and the advertising identifier only at the moment you press the matching control. Declining any one of them leaves the rest of the journal usable, and Carvn never opens a settings screen on your behalf.
We do not sell, rent, broker or share personal information. We do not link to third-party advertising or analytics networks, we do not train models on your content, and we do not transmit journal data anywhere — there is no server that could receive it.
Road credit purchases are completed by Apple through your App Store account. Carvn receives only the product identifier needed to add credits to your local balance. Carvn does not see your name, card details or billing address.
Carvn is a general audience travel journal and is not directed to children under 13.
Using Delete Account inside the app erases every entry, plate, voice reflection, rendered page and remaining credit balance stored on that device. Deleting the app removes the same local store. Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side copy to retrieve.
If this notice changes in a way that affects what is stored on your device, the revised version is published at this address with a new effective date.
